Summer School of Psycholinguistics, Balatonalmádi, 2017

Tekla  with Valéria Krepsz and Tilda Neuberger (Research Institute for Linguistics) introduced the first results of a research on fricative development in Hungarian  4 to 16 years old children at the Summer School of Psycholinguistics. COG and duration of the alveolar and the voiceless postalveolar fricatives were analyzed in spontaneous speech. The results on the acoustic differences of these fricatives show considerable changes around the ages 6 and 7 years, that may be lead back to important changes in the perception.
