Márton is studying voice quality in neutral and emotional speech.
In his new experiment he investigated emotional speech samples elicited by a custom made computer game. The results showed higher ratio of irregular phonation in emotionally less neutral situations (both in stressed and unstressed syllables).
Márton introduced his results on the 13th Félúton (‘Halfway’) conference on October 5th.
We are also happy to announce that as a recognition of his achievements, Márton was also awarded the ‘Nemzeti Felsőoktatási Ösztöndíj’ (‘Fellowship granted by the Republic’).
